Historic Packages

To obtain any package version that might have appeared in the archive include http://snapshot.debian.net in your package sources list and the name of the package you are interested in.

For example, if you are interested in older versions of mozplugger, first update your sources list:

  $ wajig edit-sources

(or else choose Edit$\rightarrow$Sources in gjig) to add the following line:

  deb http://snapshot.debian.net/archive pool mozplugger

Then you can do, for example:

  $ wajig available mozplugger
  $ wajig install mozplugger=1.6.0-3

To obtain all the packages that were available yesterday:
\begin{tinyexample}
deb http://snapshot.debian.net/archive/date/yesterday/debian unstable main co\ntrib non-free
\end{tinyexample}
Similarly you can specify: last-week, 2-days-ago, etc.
