Step 2: Use CD to go to a Subdirectory

This example will use the subdirectory called C:\Temp which should already exist on your computer. It is a subdirectory that is used for temporary files. Here is how the DOS command "CD" is used to Change the default Directory:

(I've reduced the size of the window to save space.) If you have some other subdirectory that you wish to use, you can "CD" to it instead of to "\Temp".
